PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility benefits of yoga. You’ll perform a series of high-intensity, low-impact moves that will work every muscle for a long, lean and incredibly defined physique. PIYO was launched by the Beachbody company who also developed the infamous Insanity workout.
Each term typically introduces a new Round. A Round is made up of 5-6 sets of music with a choreographed routine! Each set of music; Warm Up, Heat Builder, Lower Body, Full Body Fusion, Power, Flow etc. has its own routine. The routines aren’t difficult they tend to include 4 moves which are repeated. Its the same routine for the term, so you have plenty of time to totally nail it, just in time before the next Round and subsequent set of routines is introduced with a new set of music!
